How Sweet It Is...

to be loved by...my husband.
I know what you're thinking. Get a room. Okay, maybe just my sisters are thinking that...BUT I have to tell you that my husband it super sweet.

Saturday we went to this really fancy, really huge outdoor mall
(This is not my picture, but I wanted you to see the fanciness!)
where I got a hat to keep my head from getting sunburned (again) and Billy got legos. Which...I tease him about because he's a grown man and he still loves legos.
When we got home I was feeling pretty worn out, so I took a nap. When I woke up it was time to fix dinner so I went into the kitchen and this is what I found:

The legos he got were like fill a certain sized cup for a certain amount of money and he got mostly green ones to make me that sea turtle. I love him. Also, I was a lot more inclined to make dinner with that sitting on the counter:)

On Sunday we went to chapel and had a great Lord's Supper and during the coffee fellowship (*gasp* yes, we have one of those...) a couple of the ladies were asking me about Sunday School, if I had experience, if I wanted to take part in theirs, etc. So, I gave them a little background and offered to help---next thing I know I'm helping with the k-3 class and everyone downstairs is telling Billy what a blessing I am as they've been praying for younger women to help with the Sunday School there. Apparently, two 85 year old women have been running the SS and are feeling a bit worn out. No fake!
So, I'm teaching a lesson on creation on Sunday and I've already bought my gummi bears! (Because, they didn't have those on Sunday and everyone knows you gotta have gummi bears for SS!)

This week I've been trying to get more thank you notes done. My goal is to have them all out by our 2 month anniversary. So far, I'm doing well...I feel like some of my thanks are not enough. Everyone was so helpful, supportive, loving, and generous! The Lord has given us great friends!

Other than that I've been trying to keep quiet while Billy is sleeping (crazy schedule) and not spend too much money buying things like bathtub scrubbers and adobo seasoning...

And now, I will leave you with this picture. Because I found it on my phone and it cracks me up. Mr. Man loves the horses, but from a distance...I miss this boy!

Loquaciously,
The Forecaster's Wife

p.s. Since we have internet now I've been using Hulu.com to watch Hawaii 5-0. Can I just say that I love that show and I love it even more now because I can say "HEY! I'VE BEEN THERE!" Or even a couple of episodes ago, "HEY! I LIVE THERE!" Yes...I say these things while watching by myself. It's cool.
