Life Changing!

How's that for dramatic?
That's your fair warning. I can't promise that I won't be dramatic, silly, and even petty on this blog; but at least you have your warning. There it is. Also....if you let me know that I'm being waaay off the charts dramatic I'll tone it back. But, I have a tendency to forget. Sorry. For the most part though, I'll try to keep this stuff positive. You know, though, when you get down to the nitty gritty of life...it's kind of icky.

I'm not really sure who is actually going to be reading this blog. Probably my sisters and my few close friends who actually care about the silly little things going on in my life.

My main reason for starting this blog is because I have just married the love of my life

(insert sisters sticking tongues out) and, as he is in the military, I have moved clear across the continent to be with him. Life changing enough for you? I'm on a six hour time difference from the rest of my life and have a husband who works ridiculous schedules to keep the weather from getting too out of hand:)
BUT I love it!
I miss my my family and my friends and I miss sleeping at normal hours. I know, though, that the Lord has a plan for us here and you just can't argue with that!
Where? What horrible place have I been relocated to? Oh...I'll tell you!

That's right! Hawaii!!
I know. Life is so rough. I'll try not to complain.

The Lord has really blessed me with a wonderful husband who loves me and will do anything I ask of him (and even when I don't ask), a great job for my hubby (with a great view) and most of all Salvation through His Son.
K, I take it all back. How could I ever complain. Oh yeah...*points to self* human.

Anyway. The day after I got here Mr. Husband decided it would be a good idea to take me up the steepest mountain on the island and I nearly died. Well...I made it to the top, but not without a lot of encouraging words and more water than I thought I could drink:

Koko Head: It's been labeled (by credible sources) as "Nature's Stairmaster". Good gravy.
This is on the way back down and does not even begin to explain how steep it is...but it shows how you climb...on train tracks.

Look at that pump I got goin on. Yeesh!

Mr. Husband and I at the top (behind us is Hanauma Bay)

p.s. I'm gonna need a better camera...

AND because I'm such a great wife and didn't kill him for taking me up there jet lagged and out of shape...he took me out to dinner. He's the best.

So. That was my biggest adventure of my first week in Hawaii.
I've been crazy busy with our house and trying to get it turned into our home; but, that's another post for another time...as right this second I'm paying for internet by the hour. If I were Kip's grandma I'd being throwing me out the window.
Oh yeah. AND I kinda sorta make a lot of dumb movie references....happy reading!
